Astrogeology,a frontier discipline of higher grade combined of geology with astronomy,investigates into the genesis and evolution of a variety of geologic events by using the methods,observed data and results of astronomy. It is risen when the earth science comes into genetic stage. Advances in astrogeology are expected to promote the development of both geology and astronomy. This paper introduces briefly the emergence，coverages and trends of the new study.
