Journal introduction

Advances in Earth Sciencemonthly, is a comprehensive, academic journal published in China from 1986 and co-sponsored by the Earth Sciences Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Bureau of Science and Technology for Resources and Environment of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Scientific Information Center for Resources and Environment of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.


1. Purpose of the publication: 


The objectives and tasks of this journal are: to review the current situation and development of Earth sciences and resources and environmental sciences, including Earth system science, global change and sustainable development research at home and abroad; to reveal the development tendency of major comprehensive and interdisciplinary fields; to report information on frontier sciences and interdisciplines; to reflect the application practice of high technologies and new methods; to introduce the planning strategy, implementation and management mechanisms of international science and technology programs; to report the organization, implementation and the innovative research results of the key national research programs; to evaluate the innovative research competitiveness and influence of the scientific research institutions at home and abroad.

Advances in Earth Science enjoys high reputation both at home and abroad.
