Li Cuizhong. DEVELOPMENTS,HOT SPOTS AND PROSPECT FOR SUBMARINE HYDROTHERMAL MINERALIZED ACTIVITIES[J]. Advances in Earth Science, 1994, 9(1): 14-19.

During the last decade a progressively intensified research effort has increased the understanding of submarine hydrothermal activities. Hydrothermal miniralization is one of the most actively researched subjects in the international geoscience. This paper describes:(1)Briefly reviewing on the developments of new investigating technologies and methods, the occurences and types of hydrothermal deposits as well as hydrothermal mineralization. (2) Discussing the hot spots of the current international research in this field, including submarine hydrothermal deposits and the structural-magmatic background, the formation of hydrothermal fluids and metal leaching processes, the metal fractionation processes in the hydrothermal recipitation of fluids, hydrothermal discharge and the mass balance of the ocean, etc.
