Gas geochemistry of geothermal systems is a new developing fields. This paper introduced the studies on gas origins in geothermal fields,reviewed the progresses of gas geothermometers,suggested the classification of existed gas geothermometers. It is discussed the significance of simulation on gas-water-rock in geothermal systems. Advances on gas geochemistry applied in geothermal exploitation are reported also.
