摘要:

在德国布莱梅举行的“INVEST”大会上,讨论了2013年后10年内综合大洋钻探的学术研究方向。报道了会议概况,从深部与表层相互作用、暖室气候、深部生物圈与碳、观测系统、地球和人等5个主题,介绍了大洋钻探未来的学科前沿,并分析了大洋钻探今后发展的特点。

Abstract:

The recent INVEST Conference in Bremen, Germany, discussed the scientific research goals of IODP in the decade beyond 2013. This paper provides a brief report of the conference, and introduces five scientific frontiers to be addressed by the future IODP, namely: Interactions between the Earth′s deep and surface, hot-house climate, deep biosphere and carbon cycling, observatory system, Earth and human. The specific features of IODP in its new stage are also discussed.
