Abstract

Global climate is appearing the trends of warming and raining caused by the rapid increase of greenhouse gases of carbon dioxide concentration in atmosphere. Studies on the effects of global climate change on forest ecosystem is an important developing trend in modern forest ecology . Research objectives, contents and major methods of global climate change effects on forest ecosystem have been discussed in detail . Global climate change will influence not only forest ecosystem distribution, composition, structure, function and productivity but also the biodiversity of ecosystem.Long-term monitoring of forest ecosystem, experimental ecology and computer modelling of ecosystem are regarded as the
