PROGRESS ON HIGH RESOLUTION SEQUENCE STRATIGRAPHY IN INCISED PALEOVALLEY

Abstract

Retrogressive aggradation is the main cause of thick continous deposits in the lower reach of the incised paleovalley when sea-level rises.On the basis of this,this paper discusses the exisiting paleovalley sedimentary model and some problems in high-resolution sequence stratigraphy study.
