ROCK BURST COMPREHENSIVE FORECASTING METHOD FOR THE CHAMBER GROUP OF UNDERGROUND POWER HOUSE

Based on the insitu investigation results for the engineering geological conditions where LAXIWA hydropower station is built in and the comprehensive analysis for the basis conditions yielding rock burst, the authors not only macroforecasted the rock burst yielding tendency for the chamber group of underground power house, but also built the analog criterion based on another high geo-stress phenomena (e.g., core discing) with engineering geological analog method. Finally, the possible rock burst position and its intensive grade were judged by the analog criterion after the secondary stress in the surrounding rock of the chamber group was simulated with 3D-σ software .It is shown that, the rock burst comprehensive forecasting method in the paper is essentially the one connecting the macroscopic criterion with analog criterion, can not only reflect the influencing factors of rock burst but also respect the engineering geological environment. Therefore, it is reasonable and feasible and can be applied in other underground engineering.
