CURRENT SITUATION、PROBLEMS AND RATIONAL UTILIZATION OF ARID NORTHWEST WATER RESOURCES

The problems of arid northwestern China water resources is are below by analysing its current situation of water resources: shortage of water resources, unbalance distribution of water resources, serious waste of water resources, badly environmental condition of water. At last gives out the countermeasures of rational utilization of water resources: Enhancing management, strengthening science and technology in utilization of water resources, rational allocation, optimization the water resource environment, enlarging the expenditure to water projects, making the water resource continued development.
