This paper is a brief review on the study of land surface processes relevant to atmospheric boundary layer(ABL) processes. The authors think that the priority of land surface processes includes:(1)The parameterization scheme of surface turbulence fluxes and mesoscale fluxes over heterogeneous land surface.(2)The parameterization scheme of the influence of subgrid topography on the trnsport of momentum, heat and water fluxes.(3)Further parameterization of subgrid canopy and surface hydrology.(4)The parameterization of ABL clouds.
