Biogeology is a branch of geosciences dealing with the interrelation of the biosphere with other spheres of the earth. It is new because this branch has not yet been systematically formed in the scientific world, which yields us excellent opportunity to establish it in ahead of others. Biogeology includes a series of secondary branches such as biometallogenesis, palaeobiogeography, etc.Comparison between past and present in investigating the action and reaction between global changes and biosphere alterations of various time scales is suggested as preferred approach .As to the methods of biogeology, high-resolution temporal and spatial framework building, quantitative and semi-quantitative statistics, model testing and simulation, multi-parameter, dynamics and open system researches are recommended.
