Resources and environment are the material foundation and an important premise of the development of society, and its rational use is one of the most important contents of the sustainable development. Central orogenic belt is endowed with plentiful energy and mineral resources, which are the developing superiority of this area. But the shortage of water, lack of vegetation and poor earth resources has greatly restricted the further development of this area. According to the present situation of this belt,three suggestions about protecting and utilizing water and soil resources scientifically and rationally,developing economy with the advantage of mineral and energy resources and developing the education,science and technology to improve people′s quality are given at the end of this paper to make a way for
sustainable development of central orogenic belt.
