APPROACHES AND PRACTICE OF GIS SOFTWARES COMPONENTS INTEGRATING

A“components integrating model”was provided for integrating GIS software based on the component object model and Active X technique. This paper discusses the methods and main techniques on component integrating and repeatable class objects creating, it also introduces the integrating procedure based on the current commercial GIS software through two case studies: the creating practices of land management information system and monitoring and evaluating system of coastal inning in Guangdong China. The approaches and tracks of GIS software integrating were given in the paper.
