This paper synthesized and analysed the problems and different theories of life origin proposed by the scientists at home and abroad in recent decade. Our studies showed that the key problem of life origin is to reveal the origin of living matter, and suggested that life origin study must be focused on how non-living material evolved into the living material on the primary Earth, and proposed that the origin of molecular chirality on the Earth should be the main research direction, and the origin of optical activition of organic molecule occured in the transitional stage from a chemical evolution to a biological one.
