WEN Zhan-jiu,GAO Xing,YAO Zhen-xing. Multifractal Mode Study of Geochemical Fields Based on “Element  Area Concentration” Method[J]. Advances in Earth Science, 2007, 22(6): 598-604.

Based on the C-A method of the multifractal theory, two geochemical fields in Chifeng area, Inner Mongolia are studied. The results show that the geochemical fields have three different multifractal modes:The first one is a simple multifractal model with only two parts and the  geochemical elements have no mineral enrichment; The second one is a mighty enrichment multifractal model with three parts, and it has a superposition of strong enrichment anomaly in the first one;The third one is a weak enrichment multifractal model with three parts and it has a superposition of weak enrichment anomaly in the first one. Based on these,The enrichment mode of the geochemical elements and their distribution in space are discussed and the anomaly lower limit can be obtained and  then the geochemical backgrounds、regional anomalies and local anomalies are distinguished.
