TANG Mao cang, ZHU Deqin, GAO Xiaoqing. REVIEW AND PROSPECT OF THE RESEARCH OF EARTH SYSTEM' S EVOLUTION[J]. Advances in Earth Science, 2004, 19(1): 55-062.

The research history of Earth system  can be divided into three stages:Ancient, Great Divide and Great Syncretic stages, and that the Earth System Science will be the mainstream in Earth science research for a long time. In the second section of this paper, the authors search after the reasons of the evolution of Earth system. The results show that "heat" is one of the reasons for the evolution of Earth system, but not the most important one; the impact of gravitation on climatic change can be showed as follows: spherical gravitations-the change of core circulation influences fluctuation of soft flowing sphere by the "hot plume" of Mantle-the effects on  climatic change of terrestrial heat; cosmic magnetic field adjusts the Lorenz in centrosphere by "transformer effect", which influences the evolution of the Earth system. In the third section, the authors point out that outcore circulation is the key factor for leading to the evolution of the Earth system; among heat, force and electromagnetism, the electromagnetism is the most significant factor; the boundary layer between the core and Mantle may be the energy sources to drive the core circulation and Mantle convection.
