Liao Zisheng,Lin Xueyu,Du Xinqiang. THE MAPPING PRINCIPLES AND METHODS FOR THE GROUNDWATER QUALITY EVALUATION IN SONGNEN BASIN[J]. Advances in Earth Science, 2003, 18(2): 299-304.

Based on the current Groundwater quality criteria (GB/T 14848-93) in China, the particular situation of groundwater chemical components and the closed relation between groundwater quality and endemic diseases in Songnen Basin have been considered, this paper modified some unsuitable items in the Criteria and made a comprehensive evaluation to the groundwater quality of the whole basin by means of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and the recommended methods of the state criteria. Furthermore, the researchers compiled the “Groundwater Quality Evaluation Map”, which consists of three parts: The first is the “Map of Groundwater Quality Division” (the main map), the second is the “Distribution Map of Natural Harmful Chemical Components Concentration in the Main Exploitative Aquifer” and the “Map of over Standard Zone of Man-made Harmful Contaminants in groundwater” (the subsidiary maps) and the last is the regime curves of groundwater quality. This map emphatically reflected the situation of groundwater quality, the distributive laws of different groundwater quality grade and the distributive laws of primary harmful components in the main exploitative aquifer.
