Wang Xuemei, Zhang Zhiqiang, Xiao Xiantao. Tendency Analysis of Resources and Environment Sciences of Chinese Academy of Sciences Based on Bibliometrics[J]. Advances in Earth Science, 2015, 30(11): 1287-1293.

The research productivity by the paper numbers of the resources, environment and earth sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) were statistically analyzed bases on Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E) database of Web of Knowledge. The CAS research productivity and development status in the fields of resources and environment sciences were understood by comparison with the Chinese and global paper outputs during 2009-2014. The results show that in recent years, CAS has made outstanding achievements in the field of resources and environment sciences, especially in the direction of paleontology. The Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, and the Institute of Urban Environment have more rapid growth in paper outputs. The Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, and Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry have more scientific contributions.
