Feng Yan, An Zhenchang, Sun Han, Mao Fei. A Study on Model of Geomagnetic Normal Field of China Region[J]. Advances in Earth Science, 2010, 25(7): 723-729.
Based on three components survey data of China in 2000, two kinds of normal field, main field model of CM4 and Taylor polynomial model, were chosen to calculate and draw the distribution plots of normal field. Due to the high similarity between the two kinds of normal field and in order to make more precise comparative analysis of them, two kinds of anomaly values were correspondingly calculated by using the two models. Moreover, the Surface Spline model was selected to draw anomaly plots of each component. Results showed that the distribution of the two kinds of the normal field is very similar. The normal field made by CM4 has a good coincidence with the distribution outside the boundary, which is suit for the study of the geomagnetic anomaly on large scale. Nevertheless, the negative values dominate in most regions of China; On the contrary, the normal field made by Taylor model is suit for the study of the regional geomagnetic anomaly, the distribution of positive and negative values is comparatively uniform and reasonable in the mainland.
