Chen Zhong,Qiu Xuelin,Yan Wen,Yang Huining, Gu Senchang,Chen Muhong. RESEARCH ADVANCES ON NATIVE ALUMINIUM IN NATURAL MINERAL[J]. Advances in Earth Science, 2003, 18(4): 545-550.
The paper reviewed advances on native aluminium research, including firstly process of finding and studying native aluminium, secondly physical property and morphology of metallic aluminium particles and their chemical composition, as well as crystal data, finally the models of the formation of native aluminium. In the geological environment native aluminium is usually found only in ancient volcanic rocks and hydrothermal ores, or in Recent and Meso-Cenozoic ocean sediments of the active tectonic regions of the ocean floor, including zones of transform faults, mid-ocean ridges and back-arc spreading centers. As a result of an accessory mineral involved mantle and high hydrothermal activity, there are three models of the formation of native aluminium, such as carbon deoxidization in the high temperature environment, endogenous processes of high hydrothermal activity in the submarine hydrothermal fluids, element replacement amond Al,S,K,Na.
