WANG Shui. REVIEW AND PROSPECT OF SPACE PHYSICS[J]. Advances in Earth Science, 2001, 16(5): 664-670.

Space physics is an important and rapid developing branch of science. The important events of space physics in the past hundred years are reviewed in this paper. Now that the initial exploratory stage of space physics has been completed successfully, the fruitfulness of future projects will depend on addressing basic scientific problems. The solution of these problems will require the closed cooperation between observational studies, theoretical analysis, numerical simulations and environmental forecast, leading to a big refinement of the space physics.
