The authors, in this paper, briefly introduce and review the achievements in some research fields of geochemistry, particularly in the abundance and origin of the elements, the chemical evolution of the Earth and the Solar System, the reconnaissance, formation and utilization of resources, the circling and tracing of the elements, environmental geochemistry, space chemistry, analysis and experimental geochemistry, also demonstrate and prospect some key research fields of geochemistry such as global changes and the protections of the eco-environment, the new lustration energy and mine resources, the preventing and decreasing of the natural disasters, the guaranteeing of man’s health, and the overmastering of the Solar System for the sustainable development of  human society.
