Short-term goal of the fundamental research related to exploration and searching of metallic mineral resources under circumstances of the current China′s national strength is to propose scientific theory and to provide guideline for discovery of reliable and available metal reserves on a thousand-meter scale under depth of the existing large-scale mineralized concentration area. The medium-and long-term goal is to lay a solid scientific foundation for targeting“embryos”of large mineralized concentration area in West China, and to guide the search and determination of the nation′s strategically alternative reserves.
