In application to meteorology，remote sensing information from meteorological satellite has been applied to many non一meteorological fields, such as agriculture, oceanography, hydrology，etc , in thepast thirty years. It has brought great economic and social benefits. Application of remote sensing information from meteorological satellite in non一meteorological fields is summarized in this paper.
