17 types and 6 series of gold deposits shown in the following table are classified based on metallogenesis,principal metallogenic facters,minerological association ,structure and texture of ore and nature of host rost assemblage. The patterns of different type gold deposits are briefly described according to the nature of host rock assemblages.
