The people have highly attached importance to the technipues of S-wave seismics. It is basic
premise of S一wave exploration or combining S-wave and P-wave study the basic theory for S-wave seismics. In the basic theory，especially，seismic—wave velocities(V_p,V_s) and its ratio(V_p,V_s) must be studied.
