摘要

可持续发展的量度问题是持续发展的重要课题。加拿大生态经济学家William和其博士生Wackernagel倡导的生态足迹分析法,以基于生态生产性土地的量化指标、创新的思路和方法的普适性而日益流行。系统地介绍了生态足迹分析法的理论框架、指标体系和计算方法,并通过介绍世界52个国家和地区的生态足迹具体地阐述生态足迹分析法的应用。最后,对该方法及其应用前景进行了评价。

Abstract

The measure of sustainable development has always been an important subject. The ecological footprint analysis initiated by William E.Rees, Canadian ecological economist, and Wackernagel Mathis, the former' s postgraduate has gradually become popular on account of the measuring indexes based on ecologically productive area, innovative thoughtway and it' s wide adaptability. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the conception, area-based indicators and computation of ecological footprint analysis systematically. And then it' s application is discussed through the introduction to the ecological footprint of 52 countries and districts. Finally the paper discusses the method and forecasts its application.
