介绍了2021年度地球物理学和空间物理学学科的国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年科学基金项目、地区科学基金项目、重点项目、国家杰出青年科学基金项目、优秀青年科学基金项目和联合基金等项目的受理、申请和资助情况,对2020年度结题基金项目在主要分支学科取得的重要研究进展进行总结。获得如下认识:①2021年度受理的各类申请项目数较2020年有所增加;②面上项目、青年科学基金项目和地区科学基金项目的申请数量自2016年来呈现增长态势;③面上项目、青年科学基金项目和地区科学基金项目的资助率都超过16%;④2020年度结题基金项目在主要分支学科,如大地测量学、固体地球物理学、应用地球物理学和空间物理学等方面均取得了丰硕成果。

In order to promote the well-balanced development of geophysics and space physics, the discipline layout is optimized. We introduced the applications, acceptances, reviews and submissions of the projects in the fields of geophysics and space physics for General Program, Young Scientists Fund and Fund for Less Developed Regions, Key Programs, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Excellent Young Scientists Fund and Programs of Joint Funds, managed by Department of Earth Sciences in 2021. We summarized the important research progress made by the main branch disciplines in 2020. The main results are: ① The number of various application projects accepted in 2021 has increased compared with that in 2020;②The number of applications for General Program, Young Scientists Fund and Fund for Less Developed Regions has shown an increasing trend since 2016; ③The rates of General Program, Young Scientists Fund and Fund for Less Developed Regions exceed 16%; ④The funded projects in 2020 have achieved fruitful results in major branches of research fields such as geodesy, solid geophysics, applied geophysics and space physics.
