摘要

分析了当前全球变化研究的主要特点,指出地理学在全球变化研究中将发挥日益重要的作用。提出了地理学在全球变化研究中应着重开展研究的4个方面的重点科学问题。

Abstract

 As the continuous degradation of environment, scientists and governments all over the world have been paying more and more attention to global change study. Plenty of researches have been developed in some related subjects such as geography focusing on the study of the Earth surface processes.Because of the characteristics of the subject, the following contents in geography should be emphasized and put priority in global change study in the coming period of time: (1) Physical geographical processes study on the terrestrial surface, especially the hydrological processes; dynamic change properties of cryosphere and its environmental impacts; (2) Biogeochemistry processes study of typical life elements on the terrestrial surface, especially the transfer and transformation of carbon, nitrogen, sulfur and phosphorus,and the biogeochemistry transformation of carbon in cultivated soil; (3) The impact study of human activities on regional environment, especially the impact of land-use change, urbanization processes;environmental risk assessment in regional resources development and ( 4 ) Spatial and temporal characteristics study of high-resolution environmental revolution.
