人类正面临着“如何维持地球生命支撑系统”的挑战。未来10年IGBP将在3个层面上展开研究。IGBP将加强与IHDP以及WCRP的紧密协作,启动3个关键的联合项目:全球碳循环、水资源、食物和纤维。从组织、管理、学科交叉和综合研究等方面提出了加强我国全球变化研究的建议。
