近年来,在沉积盆地分析方面取得了许多新进展,其中在以下几个方面进展最快并在继续发展,它们是:海相碎屑环境;三维相构形;计算机的应用;沉积旋回;海平面变化;盆地模拟;板块构造解释和定量动力地层学。
