Particle Image Volocimetry(PIV) technology was used to study the particle concentration through the wind tunnel experiment. To get the better results, we used the artificial quartz sand instead of the natural sand. The particle concentrations at three wind velocities were detected by the state of the art measurement. The results show that the concentration of the particles in the sand flux has little change with the horizontal direction, and decreases quickly with height, which can be expressed by an exponential function  . The decay rate of the particle concentration has a close relationship with the wind velocity. It increases with the decreasing wind velocity and decreases with the increasing wind velocity. When the sands movement starts, the concentration very close to the sand surface is changeless with the wind velocity. 
