Using the fusion technology of remote sensing data, multi-temporal TM and SPOT data is merged, and the feature change monitoring Method is presented to monitor land use change.  By testing a case of monitoring dynamic change of urban residential area, it is showed that this method leads to better position and area accuracy compared with other methods, has a fine timely efficiency and inheritance, and rises superior to the types of  sensors. And the method is easy to be popularized and applied.
