Shen Xian jie.   ON INTEGRATED TECTONOTHERMAL EVOLUTION OF TERRANES—A CASE STUDY OF THE TIBET PLATEAU[J]. Advances in Earth Science, 1992, 7(3): 25-.

First, the author emphasized the significance of study of the integrated tectonothermal evolution of terranes, and discusses the genetic linkage between tectonic evolution and thermal evolution of terraves. Then,on this basis,a systematic introduction with consideration of the case study of the Tibetan plateau is given to:(1)the designing of the tectonothermal model which must obey seasonable combination of all-sideness and simpicity,i. e. the model factors must be all-sided;whereas the simulation method ought to be simplified;(2) methodology of modeling in which the tectonic evolution is taken as a framework, while the thermal evolution of terranes is treated as a main line.  In this paper a 2-ponents including radiogenic heating (Qr),strain-heating during terrane deformation (Qs),friction-heating along faults(Qf),and reinforcement of basal heating(Qb)due to basal delamination of the litho-sphere etc.  Such an equation is accepted as a basic equation to solve the integrated problem oftectonothermal evolution of terranes in a macroscopic geological region using combined method of finitedifference and finite element.
