This article briefly makes a review of present condition and prospect on geologic method studied crustal stress state.
    First,the present arthor points out that geologic  method has become a  main  method studied crustalstress state,after half century straits have involved.
    Secondly ,three factors effected the development of geologic method have been analyzed.
    Thirdly , a research of recent tectonics by remote sensing geology technique is summarized. It suggests that the technique has opened up a new good prospect for geologic method.
      Finally,a new  good prospect of geologic method studied crustal stress state has described.
