Numerical simulation is one of the important methods to study air pollution and long range transport of acid species. Many Eulerian transport and transformation models have been developed for acid species since 1970s and a number of improvements have been made in numerical simulations of acid species in China. In this paper, the current state and future direction of Eulerian transport and transformation models are discussed.
