Meso-Cenozoic era is the most prosperous period of living cretures in geohistory, and is also an important period for biogenesis. In those Meso-Cenozoic basins, the sedimentary rocks have systematically preserved the information of the geochemical process performed by the all sorts of living cretures at that time. Therefore, it has an important significance to study the biogeochemical circulation, paleoenvironment and biomineralization occured in the Meso-Cenozoic sedimentary basins.
