This paper introduce show Japanese scholars understand environmental changes by analyzing the midden sites and the natural environment surrounding them during the Jomon Period, and how Jomonian adapted the environment, how they lived, developed in it and exert influences over it. Furthermore, the author presents a model which can be used to explain the relationship between mankind and the environment in Jomon Period.
