Applying the isotopic dating and temperature-probing techniques, the isotopic paleotemperature of the speleothems evolutions from the Tian-e Cave, Ninghua county of Fujian Province, is obtained based on the O'Neil's Equation. The temperature evolutional curve is compared with that of the global O-isotopic curve of deep-sea foraminifera, which shows that: in this area there had obviously experienced five times of large temperature variation processes from about 210 ka to 18 ka BP, which correspond to the 6 th, the 5 th, the 4 th, the 3 rd and the 2 th stage respectively in the oxygen isotopic periodity. It is estimated that the Riss glacial ended up at about 155 ka BP, and the Würm subinterglacial began at about 65 ka BP.Results argue that there was no conditions to form glacier in this area under the Late Quaternary paleoclimate environments, which was influenced by the global temperature variations substantially.
