In recent years, geological disasters of landslide dramatically increased in many countries of the world, and they have seriously threatened people's lives and properties. Research on landslide attracts great attention from international scientific communities. The tendency of scientific research could be reflected by bibliometrical analysis. Thomson Data Analyzer and Ucinet were used to do data mining and analysis of SCIE database papers about international landslide research in many interrelated fields from 1902 to 2010. A great deal of research work started from 1991. Landslide, debris flow, earthquake, slope stability, hazard, GIS, tsunami, landslip, etc. are the major research contents. Modeling is the major research method. GIS, tsunami, numerical simulation, seabed landslide are hot research topics emerging in the recent 10 years.
