The unconformity contact of stratum is an important basis in the study of geologic history and the judge of the characters and the date of crustal movement. The major fold episode is one of the decisive role played and the most important tectonic movement in orogenic belt. The fold episode is different in Tianshan areas with different understanding by seientists. As a result, the major fold episode is not established  in this area. This is the angle-unconformity contact of stratum between the early and later Carboniferous in the Yishijilike area, Western Tianshan Mountains. They are obviously different by rock assemblage, depositional environment, geographical area of paleontology, tectonic style, regional tectonic setting, etc. The tectonic framework, basin-mountain evolution have played a decisive role by Shanshan movement, which is the major fold episode. Shanshan movement records the important evolutional information of the died-out of the trench-island arc-basin system, the end of Tianshan residual small ocean basin, and the Tarim plate and Junggar plate combining together to form a unified continent
