Chen Zongyu. ADVANCEMENTS OF HYDROGEOCHEMICAL MODELING[J]. Advances in Earth Science, 1995, 10(3): 278-282.

Hydrogeochemical modeling involved with many subjects is a new method to study the geoecology and groung water pollution. With the hydrogechemical models, modelling water-rock intereaction and contaminants transport under the condition of the nature and the human activity can be carried out. As a part of the model of ground water resources management, the hydrogeochemical models provide a means for predicting the development of ground water pollution and protecting the ground water resources from pollution. In this paper, the author summarizes the advances of geochemical model, solute transport model, coupled hydrochemical model and discusses the main problems of these models.
